1. About these terms
These terms apply to lumethariqenessa.com, operated for Lumethariqenessa Cricket Club Ltd. “We”, “us” and “the club” refer to that organisation. They explain the permitted use of the site and the status of information about cricket, membership, training and club kit.
A particular membership, coached activity, fixture, event or purchase may have additional conditions. Those conditions, including any fees and cancellation arrangements, must be made available before you agree. A specific confirmed arrangement takes precedence over these general website terms where the two differ, without removing mandatory legal protections.
2. Contact
For questions, contact info@lumethariqenessa.com. The club’s correspondence address is 123 Cricket Lane, London, SW11 4AB, United Kingdom. Please confirm the correct ground, entrance and arrival time with the club before travelling to any activity; a correspondence address is not confirmation of a session venue.
3. Enquiries and membership
An enquiry is an expression of interest. It does not create membership, reserve a place, confirm selection or guarantee a response within a particular time. The club may need to discuss your experience, interests and availability before suggesting an appropriate next step. Only an explicit confirmation from the club establishes the arrangements for a particular activity.
Participation can depend on group capacity, suitable supervision, eligibility, safety and venue availability. Cricket development is individual: no score, selection outcome or rate of improvement is guaranteed. Please give accurate information relevant to an enquiry and tell the club if important arrangements change.
4. Fees, kit and payment
Any kit prices or programme descriptions shown on this site are invitations to enquire. Stock, sizes, availability and the final total must be confirmed before an order is accepted. The site does not take online payments. Do not send payment-card details through the public enquiry area.
Before a paid commitment, the club should confirm what is included, any additional charge, payment timing, delivery or collection arrangements and the applicable cancellation or refund terms. Your statutory rights concerning goods and services remain unaffected. We do not treat an enquiry or a visit to this website as acceptance of a paid order.
5. Fixtures and changes
Cricket depends on conditions. Weather, ground inspections, competition decisions, participant availability and safety considerations can alter a session or fixture. Confirm current details before travelling. Where a confirmed activity changes, the club will use the contact arrangements associated with it to communicate the change where reasonably practicable.
Cancellation, postponement, replacement activity, credit or refund for a paid arrangement must be assessed under its agreed conditions and applicable consumer law. These website terms do not impose a blanket “no refunds” rule or remove a remedy to which you are legally entitled.
6. Safe and respectful participation
Participants and visitors are expected to respect team-mates, opponents, officials, coaches, volunteers and venue staff. Discrimination, threats, harassment and dangerous conduct are unacceptable. Follow instructions concerning warm-ups, protective equipment, practice areas, the playing surface and safe movement around nets.
Cricket involves physical exertion and risks from balls, equipment, collisions and changing ground conditions. Choose activity appropriate to your circumstances and discuss a relevant limitation through a suitable private channel. Recognising those risks does not release the club from its legal duties or mean that you waive your statutory rights.
7. Junior players and visitors
A parent or guardian should arrange a child’s initial participation. Supervision, consent, emergency contacts and collection arrangements must be confirmed for the particular session. An adult enquiry or a child’s interest does not establish that an unsupervised place is available.
Visitors should remain in designated areas and follow the host venue’s instructions. The club may pause or decline participation where a proportionate safety or welfare concern requires it. Any such decision should be handled fairly and with appropriate regard for the people affected.
8. Equipment and belongings
Bring suitable clothing and any equipment agreed for your session. Ask before using or borrowing club equipment, use it only as intended and report damage promptly. Keep personal belongings secure. Responsibility for loss or damage is determined by the circumstances and applicable law; these terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Using the website
You may browse the site for lawful purposes and make genuine club enquiries. Do not attempt unauthorised access, disrupt availability, introduce harmful material, impersonate another person or misuse the contact facilities. We may take reasonable measures to protect the site and its users, including restricting abusive activity.
We aim to keep information useful and clear, but availability may be interrupted for maintenance or circumstances outside reasonable control. Training notes are general cricket information, not individual medical advice. Illustrative images show aspects of the sport and do not, without an express statement, identify a particular club venue, player or event.
10. Content and contributions
Club branding, original text and other material belong to their respective owners or licensors. You may read, print and retain reasonable extracts for personal reference. Commercial reproduction, misleading use of the club identity or removal of ownership notices requires permission unless the law otherwise allows it.
If you provide a photograph, comment or other contribution, ensure you have the right to share it and respect other people’s privacy. Sending an enquiry does not grant unrestricted permission to publish your message or image. Any publication permission should be agreed separately and clearly.
11. Privacy and external links
The Privacy Policy explains relevant personal-information practices. The Cookie Policy explains website preferences. These documents provide information about your rights; continued browsing is not treated as consent to optional marketing or tracking.
Links to independent sources, including public authorities, are provided for convenience. Their content and privacy arrangements are their responsibility. A link does not imply that another organisation endorses the club or that we control its services.
12. Liability and consumer protection
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that the law does not permit us to exclude. Nothing removes your mandatory consumer rights.
Subject to those protections, responsibility for a loss depends on its cause, whether it was reasonably foreseeable and the relevant agreement. This website is intended for personal club enquiries and information; it does not promise uninterrupted access, commercial results or a particular cricket outcome. These terms do not require you to indemnify the club for its own wrongdoing.
13. Concerns, changes and applicable law
Please contact the club with the details of a concern and the outcome you seek so that it can be reviewed. You remain free to use an applicable statutory remedy or bring a claim without first giving up any legal right. If one provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply where they can fairly do so.
The law of England and Wales governs these website terms. This does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections or rights to use courts available under applicable law in their place of residence. Updates take effect when published for future website use; they do not retrospectively remove rights or unilaterally replace the terms of an existing confirmed arrangement.
